Summary The LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse for the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT). The LPN is aligned under Ambulatory Care Services at the Flint Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Licensed Practical/License Vocational Nurse PACT (LPN/LVN) is to perform assigned duties in a manner that promotes quality health care, positive customer service and the maintenance of an environment committed to serving the veteran. Duties include but are not limited to: Serves as a member of the healthcare team by participating in planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care using a focused assessment Functions as preceptor when appropriate Administers medications via all routes, excluding intravenous Educates patients and/or family for understanding of orders as documented in EHR Performs assigned nursing care responsibilities, under limited to moderate supervision, including use of ce...
