Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary
This position provides and coordinates the daily patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Assists with assessment, medication administration and implementation of nursing care of the hospitalized patient.
Minimum Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
• Current Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse License.
• BLS certification or must obtain during Orientation and prior to reporting to department.
• Basic arrhythmia and other advance life support certification required by unit/department specialty according to patient care policies must be obtained within one year of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements

• 1 year experience in hospital or rehabilitation setting desirable
