Summary The LPN functions as a member of the team as assigned. Performs most complex practical nursing care assignments with precision and efficiency consistent with Nursing Service policy and procedure and within the legal and ethical responsibilities of the LPN. Demonstrates self-direction and flexibility in fulfilling the requirements of a complex assignment. Responsibilities Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Duties include, but not limited to: Screens all recipient's pre-vaccine for potential concerns as identified by facility guidelines. Educates recipient and administers vaccine as indicated. Documents vaccine administration using appropriate medical record system. Monitors pre and post vaccination for potential side effects and refers for additional assessment/care as indicated. Participates in teaching and rehabilitation.
