Licensed Vocational Nurse (Float Pool-Intermittent)

Summary The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System is seeking highly skilled and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses for our Float Pool. Our Float Pool serves as a resource pool for the entire facility to provide staffing needs to areas including Medical-Surgical, Mental Health, and Geriatric and Rehabilitative Care services. Float Pool LVNs will float to areas in the hospital where they have the experience. Responsibilities Current, permanent GLA employees will be given the first consideration. Must submit most recent SF-50 to receive 1st consideration. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse/Team Leader, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides nursing care to the Veteran patient with consideration to psychosocial, cultural, and age specific needs.
