Licensed Vocational Nurse

The Travis County Juvenile Probation Department is accepting applications for full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse positions in our Medical Services unit. These positions are critical to ensure that 24/7 medical operations are maintained to promote quality of care to juvenile clients through assessment, medication management, and direct client care. Shift Differential Pay ($4.40/hour) is available for any weekend hours worked and hours worked between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. on weekdays.
Under clinical and administrative supervision, evaluates total health care needs of patients and develops plans to meet those needs. Provides or arranges for medical treatment for patients. May provide clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants.
