LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE (LVN)

Position Details

This is an open recruitment to establish an eligibility list to fill the current vacant positions for the 2026 - 2027 school year. The eligibility list will also be used to fill any vacancies which may occur within a period of one year, or until depleted. Positions in this classification typically work 7 hours per day. The recruitment process will consist of a written examination and a structured interview. BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned administrator and in coordination with the District Nurse and Certificated Staff, provides a variety of specialized, health, and physical care services in the classroom to medically fragile students with severe physical disabilities and/or life threatening health conditions; for the purpose/s of meeting the individual health needs of students, to comply with health care plans directed by physicians.
