LifeLabs Lab Patient Technician Position

LifeLabs is hiring a Lab Patient Technician for part-time float shifts in Chatham and Wallaceburg. Your role will mainly focus on patient interaction, specimen collection, and ensuring compliance with testing protocols to support patient care.
In this role, you'll need relevant qualifications and experience, especially in phlebotomy. You will greet patients, conduct necessary tests, and manage documentation for medical/legal requirements. Keeping strong client relationships and handling data entry accurately will be crucial aspects of your daily work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and explain the testing process to patients
• Perform phlebotomies and ECG tracings efficiently
• Carry out special test collections and maintain documentation
• Address client inquiries and follow up on requests
• Prepare specimens thoroughly for testing and transportation
Requirements:
