Job overview

Newham Hospital’s ultrasound department provides Obstetric and Non-Obstetric Ultrasound service. The Sonographers within the ultrasound department are an experienced and supportive team, who will work to facilitate your learning. Successful Candidates will be assigned a supervisor/mentor who, alongside the Clinical Lead Sonographers will regularly assess your progress and discuss learning objectives throughout the training period.

Upon successful completion of the Post Graduate certificate qualification and an agreed set of link grade competencies, you will move into a Band 7 Sonographer post based at Newham Hospital. However you will be required to attain these within the necessary timeframe (9 or 12 -months depending on the university your academic programme being undertaken).
