The Role

ECC Adult Social Care continues its transformation from a focus on long‑term care support to a model built on four key principles: prevention, early intervention, enablement and safeguarding. The goal is to help people, their families and carers access information and tools to live healthily and independently, responding proactively to growing service demand while respecting the Council’s financial constraints.

You will support adults and their families with complex social needs, especially those who are more vulnerable due to disability, exclusion or diminished capacity, and maximise their potential to live independently.
