Locum Consultant in Palliative Medicine

This is a locum post for initially 3 months to join a complement of six Consultants, and a number of resident medical staff responsible for the provision of Specialist Palliative Medicine services to the Health Board.

The post will be based at Singleton Hospital which is home to the South West Wales Cancer Centre, haematology inpatient care and general medical beds. Following the Acute Medical Service redesign project in Swansea Bay Singleton hospital will become a centre of excellence for cancer care. The post holder will be the lead Palliative Medicine doctor for Singleton hospital with medical and CNS support on a daily basis.
