Locum Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic (Lower Limb) WM site

Responsibilities

The postholder will provide high-quality, consultant‑led care in lower limb surgery within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with hip, knee, and associated musculoskeletal conditions (inclusive, ideally, of soft tissue conditions, such as multi-ligament injuries). The role will entail a strong emphasis on elective recovery and, where necessary, trauma services across outpatient clinics, operating theatres, and inpatient ward settings (including periprosthetic and complex femoral fractures).

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient‑centred care, supporting the Trust’s commitment to clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
