The primary purpose of this position is: Develop and disseminate Air National Guard (ANG) Aerospace Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO) management policy and procedures. Responsibilities Develops command Air Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO) policy and guidance for the ANG. Conceives, develops, and implements guidance over the entire ANG inventory of aircraft, located in 54 states and territories. Conducts comprehensive studies and analysis of existing and proposed logistics policies and procedures to determine impact on the ANG. Develops ANG policies/regulations concerning revision of job-related instructions, manuals and technical orders through proposal evaluation or submission of recommended changes, to include but not limited to; AFI 16-402 Aerospace Vehicle Programming, Assignment, Distribution, Accounting and Terminations and AFI 21-103 Equipment I...
