Summary

Reporting to the Logistics Specialist Lead, the Logistics Specialist provides professional customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring accurate data entry, physical receiving, transferring, issuing, and inventory management of ASC and NSF material. The role processes, packages, and stages an average of 12,000 lbs of retrograde cargo per cruise, and offloads, receives, and delivers an average of 49,000 lbs of southbound cargo per cruise. The Logistics Specialist recommends inventory improvements, assists with port call planning, and participates in long‑shore cargo handling duties involving 20‑foot containers and break‑bulk cargo. The position balances work tasks with community and volunteer responsibilities.
