LOGISTICS SPECIALIST - 1ST SHIFT
Position Details
+ Hourly position based upon experience & skill level
+ Contract with possible contract extension or hire
+ Standard work hours: Mon - Fri 7:00am-3:30pm (after hours and weekend if project demands)
+ Location: Onsite- Client site in New Albany, OH
Primarily Roles & Responsibilities
+ Manage all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction. Proactively anticipates and defuses potential customer and vendor problems related to freight, packaging and delivery.
+ Communicate internally and externally regarding transportation requirements.
+ Processes customer requests for industry compliance. Works with suppliers and Product Engineering to ensure that all necessary documents are received and customer requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
+ Other duties as assigned.
