Work Details
- Hours: 05:45 am – 14:45 pm, Monday to Thursday
- Rate: £15.00 per hour plus overtime
- Duration: Temp to perm after 12 weeks
- Location: Wednesbury
Duties
- Melt metal alloy in a furnace and bring to casting temperature.
- Transfer molten metal to a holding furnace below the die.
- Force molten metal through the riser tube into the die by applying low pressure.
- Allow metal to solidify under constant pressure in the die cavity.
- Release pressure and recycle remaining molten metal.
- Cool the die for easy casting removal.
