LPN WOW, Orthopedic Unit, Weekends, 7p-7a

This is a WOW (Work on Weekends) position. Schedules for WOW employees include every weekend (Nights - Friday & Saturday, Days - Saturday & Sunday). Employees in designated WOW positions earn premium pay in addition to their competitive hourly rates and shift differential.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under direction and supervision, is an individual accountable for the care of patients. The LPN focuses on safe effective patient and family centered care, customer satisfaction and quality outcomes. The LPN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit, promoting his/her own development with an emphasis on evidence based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework. The LPN, under direction, may delegate nursing tasks to non-licensed staff members.
