REPORTS TO: School Nurse/Principal Salary: To be negotiated based on experience, per the Union Contract RESPONSIBILITIES: -Assists in managing the school health services program under the direction of the Nurse, -Coordinator of Student Services and the Principal in compliance with school district health policies, procedures, and protocols -Strengthens and facilitates the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of students -Assists the School Nurse in focusing on the prevention of illnesses, early detection and intervention for health problems. -Collaborates with the School Nurse regarding medical needs, care plans, medication plans and communication with parents and medical specialists. -Under direction from the School Nurse, assists with the management of students or staff that present with symptoms resembling suspected COVID-19 in accordance with the School Policies and Protocols. -Provide other nursing care as determined by the School Nurse.
