Opportunity Description
Join Maersk’s Lubricants, Paints and Chemicals procurement category (LUPAC) as a Lubricant & Chemicals Specialist. In this role you will support vessel operations, expeditiously advance initiatives, and play a key part in driving measurable impacts on cost, efficiency, and decarbonisation.
Responsibilities- Provide first‑level technical support on product selection and usage to vessel crews, superintendents, and procurement
- Develop and maintain vessel lubrication charts
- Manage fleet‑wide used oil analysis program and drive improvements
- Ensure compliance with environmentally acceptable products (VGP)
- Optimize cost and reduce complexity across lubricants, chemicals, and paints
- Contribute to Maersk’s decarbonization agenda through innovative solutions
- Lead ad‑hoc projects to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies
