48 or 36 hours **Targeted patient ratios are 1:7** Unit consists of 20-21 beds. Patients require less acute care, hence the reasoning for higher patient ratios. More of a nursing home setting. No telemetry monitoring, no blood products, no Bipap if it's not long term. **For 48-hour contracts, OT is paid out after 48 hours** Must have the following requirements: • Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment • BLS - must be able to read and interpret strips • Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed. 1.5 years exp, exp in a level 1 or 2 preferred • Travel experience preferred EPIC EXP REQUIRED Unit may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients.
