M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling Faculty


Northwestern College invites applications for a full-time assistant professor (tenure-track) position in the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (https://www.nwciowa.edu/master-mental-health-counseling) program, beginning August 2026. This is a 12-month (30 credits) full-time teaching position, along with expectations for scholarship and service. Northwestern’s rigorous program of study is aligned with the standards of the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and culminates with students taking the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Exam (CPCE) and the National Counselor Examination (NCE). Northwestern’s program integrates a solid theoretical foundation and development of strong clinical counseling skills with a biblical worldview and Christian faith.
