This role involves working indoors in a climate-controlled production environment to handle corn post-harvest through moisture testing to packaging and shipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working in dusty and noisy conditions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Place corn husks on a conveyor system for husk removal.
+ Operate equipment to peel husks and dry corn.
+ Log drying times accurately for each batch.
+ Bag dried corn and prepare it for shipment as seed.
+ Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
+ Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.
