Maintenance Assistant

To assist in the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance of hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house, and equipment.
• Assist in repairing electrical, plumbing, air‑conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems as directed.
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, and minor repairs to maintain the hotel in good condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls from guests and departments.
• Assist in monitoring and recording utility usage (water, electricity, gas) when required.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly used, maintained, and stored safely.
• Support in setting up, moving, and maintaining hotel furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
