Maintenance Craft Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support RWE Control and Instrument, Electrical, Mechanical, and Stores teams.
• Ability and willingness to retrain and develop new skills.
• Conduct planned maintenance, breakdowns, and outage responsibilities with each team when required.
• Cover and assist in the site stores when required.
• Adhere to all RWE/Hargreaves Health and Safety regulations and policies.
• Loading/unloading vehicles and general forklift duties; deliver off‑site deliveries.
• Willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
• Conduct any reasonable instruction directed by RWE Supervisor or Hargreaves Site Manager.

Ideal Candidate Skills / Attributes

• NVQ qualification in mechanical/electrical maintenance desirable.
• Maintenance experience or a strong desire to develop skills and knowledge.
• Passport to Safety, IOSH Managing Safely desirable (training given).
