Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary:
As Maintenance Engineer supporting our manufacturing client in Savannah, GA, you ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of plant assets. You define and lead processes and systems for providing a proper response to failures and quality repairs to the equipment by specifying repairs and modifications to equipment.



Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Develop maintenance procedures, methods, and testing

Support craftsmen performing all facets of maintenance work and responding to equipment faults

Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns

Specify replacement parts and ensuring the equipment is functioning correctly

Assist Planners in the development of Work Packages

Inspect jobs to verify the work is performed correctly

Partner with other departments and customers, specifically other engineering and production teams

Develop processes to manage maintenance tools, and equipment
