Maintenance Manager

Provides interface between Atlas Air and area maintenance providers regarding all aircraft and engine maintenance issues. Monitors reliability of area-based fleet, implements corrective action in concert with Atlas Air Maintenance Control, Technical Support and vendors. Institutes vendor performance auditing procedures and monitors invoicing for correct billing. Ensures vendor compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Maintains liaison with Ground Operations and Flight Operations to ensure safe and dependable operations.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct oversight and control over the maintenance in the location.
• Ensuring good communication with local airport authorities and companies regarding leases or contracts the company may have at the location.
• Arranging airport passes and visas for third-party cover and support, coordinated with the Director of Maintenance.
