Maintenance Manager (Leduc)

Overview

Position Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor is in a leadership position accountable for safeguarding and maintaining the equipment and physical plant of the organization. The Maintenance Supervisor adheres to the philosophy of Salem Manor Nursing Home and provides direction within the departmental goals and objectives. The Maintenance Supervisor demonstrates respect, effective communication, flexibility, and commitment in all areas of work supporting the Leadership Team in their endeavours.

Responsibilities

1. Leadership/Administration
   • In collaboration with the CEO, develops, maintains and reviews departmental goals and objectives, policies and procedures, job descriptions, work routines, keeping them current.
   • Provides direct supervision of Maintenance staff.
   • Establishes explicit direction by setting performance expectations with Maintenance staff.
