Maintenance Manager

Stellenpak , a well-established fruit packing and cooling enterprise in Paarl, serving a niche market segment in the fruit industry, is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join the team.

The incumbent will manage a small maintenance team, ensure that packhouse and cold store machinery and equipment is always in an excellent working condition and that breakdowns are kept to a minimum. Maintenance of buildings and the improvement and upgrading of facilities and equipment is part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance
• Manage the maintenance team:
• Assign tasks
• Ensure tasks are completed timeously and correctly
• Performance evaluation of staff
• Disciplinary action when necessary
• Schedule and approve leave
• Communicate effectively with all team members
• Ensure all machinery is always operating optimally and efficiently
