Maintenance Mechanic (2nd Shift)

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time, 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic. This is a full-time, 12-month position that includes a full benefits package. This position involves a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks of a skilled nature.

Typical work may include but is not limited to the following:


+ Supervises and/or performs skilled repairs to plumbing, steam lines, electric wiring and equipment, furniture, doors and windows, hardware and varied mechanical equipment and machinery;

+ Installs shelving, storage cabinets and new hardware, and performs other skilled carpentry tasks;

+ Does skilled painting work;

+ Maintains and repairs central heating systems;

+ Performs grounds maintenance and maintains athletic and playground facilities;

+ Does related work as required
