Maintenance Mechanic Assistant Supervisor

Summary The position is in the Architect of the Capitol, House Office Buildings, Assistant Superintendent, Facilities Operations Division, Mechanical Systems Branch. Responsibilities The incumbent serves as a Maintenance Mechanic Assistant Supervisor, and shares responsibility with the Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor for planning, scheduling, and coordinating work operations; and solving problems related to the work performed by Pipefitters, Insulators, Welders, Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanics, Industrial Equipment Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanic Workers, and/or Maintenance Mechanic Helpers in the Mechanical Systems Branch. The tour of duty is Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Note: This position is emergency essential - Depending on the type of emergency the employee may be required to report to work during emergency situations.
