Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor

Summary This position is Maintenance Supervisor of the Mechanical Unit of Engineering Services and is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the complete plumbing/pipefitting/air conditioning and refrigeration systems of this Medical Center. Responsibilities Duties Major duties include but are not limited to; Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of trades within Facilities Management Service (i.e. Maintenance Mechanic, HVAC equipment mechanic, pipefitter, electrician, and carpenter) Supervises maintenance mechanics, maintenance workers, locksmith and other assigned trades Instructs the craftsmen in the proper methods of performing their duties and reviews and approves their work performed to include observance of all regulations on the assigned trade work, conduct, and safety with particular emphasis placed on the correct procedures to follow when working in sensitive areas; Prioritizing all assigned routine and emergency work orders for ...
