Maintenance Operative

We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our friendly team at Brentwood Care Centre.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Weekly audits including but not limited to fire alarms, water temperatures, inspecting premises including air conditioning and recording on forms;
• Low level maintenance work to ensure that the setting is safe and well maintained;
• Keep good records of all of the tasks you perform;

Requirements

• Relatively recent experience being a maintenance officer or caretaker;
• Multi-Trader with experience in some of the following – decorating, minor plumbing, handy man duties, as well as minor joinery, electrical PAT testing of items etc;
• Preferably prior experience working in a care home environment (while it is preferred, this is not essential);
• Availability for occasional call outs;
• Lives reasonably locally, i.e. within a reasonable travelling distance
