Maintenance Oversight & Decision Authority Review, evaluate, and approve maintenance and repair quotes for tractors, trailers, and ancillary equipment.Issue purchase orders (POs) and determine whether to proceed with repairs based on cost, urgency, equipment condition, and operational impact.Prioritize maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime and minimize service disruptions.Ensure all repairs meet DOT, FMCSA, and internal safety standards. Vendor & Cost Management Develop, negotiate, and manage corporate maintenance and repair agreements with vendors, dealerships, and service providers.Establish preferred vendor programs and national or regional service agreements to secure discounted pricing and favorable terms.Evaluate vendor performance based on cost, turnaround time, quality of work, and compliance.Continuously identify c...
