Maintenance Tech

Job Duties:

+ Troubleshoot all equipment and associated processes at Chattem.
+ Ability to follow instructions carefully with attention to details.
+ Responsible for following all safety, security and company policies.
+ Ability to maintain all equipment.
+ Able to work with outside vendors and contractors as required.
+ Follow cGMP guidelines for APIs.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Ability to work any shift and OT (as needed).
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
+ Good communication skills.
+ A self-started, energetic and motivated.
+ Work in hot or cold weather conditions.
+ Safely lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Able to stand, push, pull and climb stairs frequently.
+ Able to work in confined spaces, off-the-ground work (platforms, ladders, tall distillation columns, etc)
+ Experience in maintenance for the following types of equipment:

+ Centrifugal pumps
