The technician will troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on various machines, including bearing machines, wire cutting machines, shape enders, centerless grinders, and motors. A significant portion of the role involves rebuilding gear boxes, which is a consistent task. The candidate should possess the ability to read manuals for part or bearing replacements and will also work on hydraulic pumps and motors. This role is predominantly mechanical, with minimal electrical tasks, focusing mainly on identifying safe electrical components.
