Opportunity Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for the availability and reliability of all mechanical plant on site.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Planning and executing scheduled and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment
  • Fabrication and welding work (Arc, MIG, TIG) including assembly of high‑specification production equipment
  • Using workshop equipment including lathe, mill and press
  • Fault‑finding and root cause analysis to minimise breakdowns and extend plant life
  • Managing mechanical spare parts inventory and equipment refurbishment
  • Supporting plant shutdowns and machinery isolation
  • Assisting in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and training of operations teams
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards and 5S practices
  • Contributing to health and safety, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives
