Opportunity Description
Join our client’s team as a Maintenance Technician in Luzerne County, PA, supporting a food manufacturing plant. This multi-craft role covers mechanical, electrical, controls, and facilities maintenance to keep production, packaging, and utility systems running safely and efficiently. We are looking to hire several people in 2nd and 3rd shifts.
What you’ll do:
- Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment including packaging, metal detection, case packing, and palletizing
- Calibrate and document sensors and instrumentation critical to food safety compliance
- Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration and glycol cooling systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, Lock-out / Tag-out procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), personal safety standards, food safety standards as well ...
