PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fulfil the assigned responsibilities and exercise delegated authorities in accordance with the post requirements applicable to maintenance within the Hillside Laboratory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular plant inspections to detect and resolve problems.
- Plan and manage all laboratory equipment repair and installation activities.
- Attend to both electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
- Assess breakdowns and apply appropriate fault-finding techniques.
- Maintain and/or repair low-level and high-level mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Ensure adherence to scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Develop, itemize, and maintain the critical spare list.
- Prepare and report progress on maintenance done on the day.
- Keep and control the record of available critical spares and spares.
