Maintenance Technician

**Description:** Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, cleaning, repair, adjustment, and improvement activities on coating sputter equipment and related manufacturing support systems. Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic, cooling, tooling, utility, and basic controls-related issues. Replaces and adjusts components, verifies proper equipment operation, supports recovery from equipment failures, and assists with root cause analysis to reduce downtime and repeat issues.
Uses hand tools, power tools, meters, test equipment, manuals, procedures, drawings, schematics, and equipment logs to perform intermediate to advanced troubleshooting. May perform electrical checks, sensor replacement, interlock verification, PLC input/output checks, and other controls-related tasks when properly trained and authorized.
