Maintenance Worker 1 - Maintenance Community Homes -FT Only

Position Summary:


Provides technical expertise and manual skill in the inspection, servicing, and repair of the buildings, grounds, equipment, and furnishings.







Principle Duties and Responsibilities:



+ Performs basic routine building repair and maintenance, including but not limited to: drywall, painting, plumbing, and light carpentry.

+ Documents project status and completions.

+ Responds to emergency situations for evening and weekend call-outs.

+ Provides reasonable care and maintenance and assumes accountability for assigned, issued and/or checked-out tools, equipment and/or vehicles.

+ Performs all activities in accordance with the latest job safety practices.

+ Maintain work areas, equipment and tools in proper order and with care.
