Maintenance Worker

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Lodging Facility. The purpose of this position is to perform general maintenance and repair duties within the lodging facilities. Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: Performs a variety of painting on facilities indoors and out, also on equipment, using standard type brushes', rollers and sprayers. Makes minor repairs to plumbing fixtures such as disposal systems, leaky drains, faucets, etc. Performs simple carpentry work to install mirrors, shelves and curtain rods. Refinishes damaged or scarred areas on furniture. Patches walls. Repairs doors, locks and closures, windows and screens. May repair and replace ceramic tile to include grouting. Changes outlets, switches, light fixtures. Repairs housekeeping equipment. Moves furniture. Changes Air conditioning heating filters.
