Maintenance Worker (Motor Vehicle Operator)

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Carolina Pines Inn Shaw AFB. Responsibilities Inspects buildings and structures to determine nature and extent of repairs required. Performs minor repairs on existing structures and furnishings. Replaces trim and baseboards and broken, discolored, or missing acoustic ceiling tile, window screens, and other damaged components. Repairs sticking doors/windows and replaces weather stripping, adjusts loose hinges, repairs faulty door locks. Inspects for plumbing and electrical repairs, responds to work orders, and locates and makes repairs to plumbing. Removes, cleans, replaces, packages, and scales defective parts of utility, supply and disposal systems such as dirty traps, sections of broken tile or pipe, and leaky drains using appropriate tools.
