Maintenance Worker (Seasonal)

Summary This position is located in the Maintenace Division at New River Gorge National Park & Preserve. The typical seasonal period is August to January but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Responsibilities Maintenance Worker Standard Duties: Custodial Operations: Maintain clean and safe conditions for visitors and staff, perform routine custodial duties and tasks. Grounds Maintenance: Maintain public visitor and staff office grounds/landscaping; operate and maintain lawn mowers, weedeaters and hand tools for landscape maintenance; and collect/dispose of trash. Building & Utility Maintenance: Support simple maintenance and repair of buildings, exterior structures, equipment, and utilities; assist higher-graded workers with B&U. tasks.
