Opportunity Description
Mana Ake Tairāwhiti is a new initiative delivering early intervention psychosocial support to tamariki and kura on the East Coast. Our mission is to strengthen the mental wellbeing of our young people by uplifting mātauranga Māori, fostering resilience, and building strong connections through culturally grounded wānanga in kura, homes and communities.
We are now looking for a Kaiwhakatere to join our passionate team to continue bringing this kaupapa to life across our East Coast kura.
As a Kaiwhakatere, you will lead and facilitate wānanga designed to promote mental wellbeing and resilience among tamariki and rangatahi. You’ll use creative, culturally grounded methods to inspire and engage students, weaving together hauora, whakapapa, wairua and whanaungatanga in a safe, supportive environment.
