Summary The position is at the full performance level and is located within the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, Long Beach, CA. The incumbent serves as the lead administrative support related to medical staff requirements for licensed independent providers within the Medicine Healthcare Group which includes but is not limited to conducting analytical reviews, managing and tracking data. Responsibilities Duties included but are not limited to the following: Serves as the lead administrative support related to medical staff requirements for licensed independent providers. Conducts analytical reviews, manages and tracks data, serves as an advisor to Medicine HCG physician leadership on key processes related to the credentialing and privileging process of VAMC. Supports the implementation, maintenance, and update of Focused Professional Practice Evaluations (FPPE) and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE) monitoring systems in support of all divisions of the Medicine HCG.
