Management Unit Commercial Manager

The Management Unit Commercial Manager will lead the commercial function for a defined Management Unit (MU) within our defence contract. The role will cover the South East of England.

The role is responsible for commercial strategy, financial governance, contract compliance, risk management, and value optimisation across the portfolio.

This position is critical in ensuring sustainable profitability, client satisfaction, and operational excellence through strong commercial leadership.

Responsibilities

Financial Management : Developing and managing the budget, ensuring profitability, and monitoring key financial metrics (e.g., revenue, costs, margins).

Manage prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts with all stakeholders at the end of the project

Strategic Planning : Contributing to the overall business strategy of the unit, aligning it with the broader company goals.
