Opportunity Description
Come join Autism Speaks as a Manager of Community Engagement on our West team, with a primary focus on the Southern CA market. This position is responsible for leading and/or supporting our Southern CA Empower Walk + 5K and SoCal Golf Classic as well as other constituent engagement and fundraising activities. The candidate should be located in the Greater Los Angeles area. Worth and must be comfortable with travel within the area.
Raise funds for Autism Speaks by recruiting and managing volunteers, raising awareness, and implementing fundraising and mission-related events to achieve revenue goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Achieve the revenue goals for assigned fundraising events in the Southern CA market. Current portfolio goal is $250,000+.
+ Work with the supervisor to establish and implement planning timelines, income goals, and expense budget and participant recruitment strategies.
