Manager, Development Inspection & Grading
Permanent full time, non-unionized position in the Development Engineering Department.
Position Overview
Responsible for supervising municipal services inspection, assumption, and permitting functions for development projects, managing the daily operation of the Development Inspection and Lot Grading Division, responding to inquiries from Council, public, staff, and external agencies, liaising with developers, contractors, and City staff, and administering the annual Divisional Operating Budget.
Qualifications and Experience
There are two alternative qualification paths for this position:
Community College Diploma Path
- Community College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
- Eligibility for or full membership in the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technologists and Technician as a certified Engineering Technologist with a C.E.T. designation.
