Manager Ocean Imports

Key Responsibilities.

1. End-to-End Import Shipment Control.

• Manage the complete ocean import shipment lifecycle from pre-alert receipt until final cargo delivery and job closure.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, agents, shipping lines, customs brokers, transporters, CFS operators, and customers.
• Ensure adherence to customer SOPs and service agreements.

2. Import Documentation & Manifestation

IGM Management.

• Ensure timely filing of Import General Manifest (IGM) through shipping lines and NVOCCs.
• Verify manifest data accuracy before submission.
• Ensure compliance with Indian Customs regulations.
• Manage Direct Master Bill shipments & Consol (HBL) shipments
• Verify MBL/HBL data accuracy.
