The Role
The Accounting Manager will lead a team of ten to fifteen professionals based in India and report to the Associate Accounting Director, as well as Finance contacts across WBD’s global offices. This position will support the day‑to‑day accounting and maintain the integrity and accuracy of the P&L and balance sheet. The Manager will review the team’s journal entries for accruals and manual ad hoc entries, monthly and quarterly variance explanations, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing internal and external reporting schedules. This role will ensure all deliverables are completed timely, accurately, and will sign off on necessary close and control requirements. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills and a high level of professionalism and accountability to communicate financial information to Finance and Operational partners at all levels throughout the company.
