Manufacturing Engineer (Production Quality)

The Production Quality Manufacturing Engineer leads the manufacturing cell in aspects of quality assurance & control and is responsible for the quality KPIs of the cell. This role reports directly to the site's Quality Manager.

• Build-in-Quality (PFMEA, MSA) Champion for the cell
• Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) for the cell
• Daily review of non-conformances, defect rates monitoring for required short term, medium term and long term actions.
• Lead and drive problem solving Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and effective implementation of Corrective and Preventive actions
• Facilitate Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) to meet cell's SQDC KPIs
• Drive initiatives to reduce defect rates
• Owner of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) issues and events in the cell
• Resolution of customer's quality complaints related to cell's products
